Social Blogging

A few weeks ago I got one of those unexpected live chat messages on Facebook when I logged in to check if I had any new notifications. It was from a bored friend of mine who’s also into blogging and we started discussing the advantages of social blogging platforms compared to the self-hosted WordPress blogs the two of us currently use.

I’m trying to teach myself how to code and design websites and so my blog is currently just a space for me to experiment and practice these things whilst also giving me an excuse to keep writing like I’m doing right now. I find it difficult to have the motivation to write posts on this blog because I know my audience is currently tiny. Why write something which costs me time and effort when only a couple of people will end up skimming through it at best? Read the rest of this entry »

My First M.O.A.B with Commentary

Apologies in advance for my nasal voice, think I’m catching a cold. Anyways, roughly four minutes of gameplay from my first M.O.A.B in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I’ve gotten many more since this was recorded, but I wanted to start with my very first one. The commentary focuses on talking about things I did wrong and right, plus some other game-related banter. I hope you like it and I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments. Don’t forget to like, favourite and subscribe! Read the rest of this entry »

Battlefield 3: Attack Helicopter Tactics

This article won’t be teaching you how to stop killing yourself when attempting to pilot a helicopter, instead I’ll be focussing on how to maximise their potential once you’re comfortable with the controls.

Transport helicopters also fall into the attack category, but I will be focussing on the Mi-28 Havoc and AH-1Z Viper in this piece. Transport helicopters have their own set of goals and unique advantages so they will be fleshed out in a future article. Read the rest of this entry »

Coconutty Green Smoothie

I consume way too many smoothies when I’m out and about, and they tend to cost nearly three quid at the cafés I frequent. I’ve jumped onto the ‘healthy living’ bandwagon these days and decided to save money whilst consuming more smoothies by picking up the Philips HR2094 Aluminium Blender. Read the rest of this entry »

Figure Pre-Orders: Headphones, Alchemists and Orbital Frames

I pretty much have at least one or two figures on pre-order at any given time, and receiving one of them in the morning is always a good start to my day. I thought it might be cool to give you guys a quick listing on the ones I’m most looking forward to and why I’ve got my eye on them. Maybe you’ll see something you like, maybe not. RSS Feeds: A Love–Hate Relationship

If you follow me on social networking sites then you’ll know I use RSS feeds to keep up with the Internet. However, over the years I’ve accumulated more and more feeds into my reader, and once again it’s reached a point where I just can’t keep up with the volume of updates I receive every day.
